Day Zero Camping
Thursday teams will arrive at Mountventures and check in with rally officials prior to setting up camp. Expect a queue but this should go over quickly.
TEAMS SHALL NOT arrive to the campground before 6PM. Doing so results in disqualification.
Teams arriving early from long travels may wait in the nearby town of Saint Paul. There is a town park you can visit and several restaurants and a bar. This is one of the last established towns you'll pass with grocery stores and parts stores. Saint Paul is a UTV haven so Law Enforcement is generally 4x4 friendly.
The first campground is the only one with space constraints. Below are photos of the property and where you will be placed to camp.
All trucks engage 4Lo before getting onto grass.
Getting creative with campsites, such as parking close to barns, trailers and equipment will make camping more pleasant and give teams more space.
Very few sites will be level at this location. Bring leveling blocks as needed.
Above ground fires only at this location. Ground fires are not permitted.

Overview of property above

Camping locations:
Green: Designated camp area. Both sides of Hidden Acres rd are open to camping but road can not be blocked and some spots are topographically unfeasible. Field beside private residence is open.
Mountainview Trailhead is a Gravel parking lot with mining and trail equipment surrounding it.
Blue: Lowlands, if no rain prior camping in this area may be feasible. The lowest part of the bowl stays wet so keep out.
Red: Rally staff. You will check in at this location and will be advised where you can camp.
Pink: Private Property. Please leave a buffer between the house and campers.

The bowl is steep and most of the side is not camp friendly. The bottom is flatter but the lowest areas stay wet. We need to do our best to care for the property so please stay out of this wet area and use caution if choosing a campsite in the bowl.

Mountainview Trailhead is a Gravel parking lot with mining and trail equipment surrounding it. This lot can fit several teams. Teams must park side-by-side so we can make the most out of this lot. If teams don't park close enough we'll ask them to try again.

To the right of Hidden Acres Rd as you go up the hill is open to camping. Your car should be parallel to the road if you choose this location.
The field to the right is open but be aware there is a private residence in this field as well. Please leave a buffer between you and this house, and park as far away as possible. This field is one of the more flat areas available and can fit the most people.

Red: Check in here at the top of the hill. There is mining equipment and semi trailers surrounding this area. Rally staff and sponsors will camp here and competitor camping is not permitted in this area.
There is limited camping behind this location but it will be filled last and only if all other camping is full.
I get no check in before 6pm… when does check in close for the evening?
