2020 RCR requests for later departure
Any teams desiring a later release time on day 1 please comment below with your team number and your reason for late departure request. I will also be asking this on rally day.
Officials also have authority to move teams based on vehicle capability. The reasoning behind this is tried and true, and guarantees a release order most beneficial to all competitors. There is no appeal to the order finally determined.
Late departure will not cause a significantly later arrival time to camp. It simply means you will be released at 8:00am as opposed to 7:10am (just an example)
Reasons you may be moved to a later departure:
1) Your team attends RCR for fun, and not to be competitive.
2) Your team has concluded you will traverse obstacles slower than most other teams.
3) Your team has concluded your offroad skill level is lower than most other teams.
4) You have driven technical trails for less than 3 years.
5) You don't like the pressure of being rushed by teams behind you.
6) You have smaller than 32 inch tires.
7) Any other reason an official deems necessary to make trail traffic smoother.
